Sharing your own genetic data and your (family) health information towards a public open database for scientist to study. Sounds like a pretty awesome idea of generating a massive cohort to study by all kinds of research groups. Being able to freely mix and match data within this set should promote creative research that hopefully leads to new discoveries.

"The Consent to Research project seeks to create the world’s largest pool of openly available, user-contributed data about health and genomics. We’re achieving that goal by helping people become members of a unique group – a “cohort” who not only gather data about themselves and their health, but donate that data to the growing numbers of data-driven research scientists."

Someone knows how to order the layers from the colour group? As 1 group is much smaller (but more important) I want to make sure that these dots are always on top of the much larger bulkier group.

ggplot2 order of layers when using aes(colour = group)
I have a (dense) dataset that consist out of 5 groups, so my data.frame looks something like x,y,group. I can plot this data and colour the points based on their group using: p= ggplot(dataset, aes(x,…

Physicists have already unveiled invisibility cloaks that can hide objects from light, sound, seismic and even water waves. Now researchers report a cloak that can hide objects from static magnetic fields. This 'antimagnet' could have medical applications, but might also subvert airport security.
